Strength Through Scripture—A Testimony from the Philippines

The Philippines is a beautiful nation made up of over 7,000 islands, each with its own rich history and culture. In the northern region of Luzon, the Ilocano people have maintained their distinct traditions and strong sense of community. 

While many in this region identify as Christian, a significant number still mix traditional folk beliefs with their faith. The challenge before us is to help them grow in their understanding of God’s Word so that their faith is fully rooted in Scripture alone. Through THRU the BIBLE’s Ilocano broadcasts, we see God’s hand at work, bringing clarity and transformation to those seeking truth.

• Pray for discernment – Ask God to help Ilocano-speaking believers grow in their understanding of Scripture and let go of any beliefs that are not aligned with His truth.
• Pray for transformation – May more people have access to these broadcasts and experience transformation through God’s Word.
• Pray for a spiritual revival – Ask God to stir the hearts of Ilocanos, leading entire communities to seek Him wholeheartedly.
