Let’s behold Him
December 24, 2024
As we gather on the eve of Christmas, we celebrate the greatest gift of all—Jesus Christ. If you’ve hopped aboard the Bible Bus, you heard Dr. McGee remind us that when we accept Him as our Savior, we no longer stand under the burden of the Law but under the grace of God. Isn’t that the best news? Pramila from Maharashtra, India thinks so. Here’s her story:
“I grew up in a family that was deeply devoted to performing rituals and worship. When I first heard about Christ, I thought, ‘This is not our God.’ However, everything changed when I heard the Word of God through the media player at my neighbor’s home, delivered in our language of Wadder. It transformed my mind and my way of thinking. After that, I began regularly participating in the Home Group. As I continued to attend, I realized that what Jesus has done for us, no one else has done, and no one will ever do. My faith grew stronger with each session. Even my son, who was once in prison, has now come home and is also participating in the group. I thank God for this wonderful Bible study material, which has helped me and my family grow in faith. We are grateful to no longer have a need for rituals and can now live in God’s grace.”
It's true, the same grace that entered the world in a manger continues to invite us to come boldly to the throne of mercy, offering hope, healing, and redemption. Let’s pray and thank Him.
Gracious Father, as we reflect on Your Son this Christmas Eve, we are humbled by such a gracious gift. As your Word goes out on THRU the BIBLE, may this Christmas bring the joy of Jesus to many more hearts around the world.
We pray that You continue to strengthen those who are walking with You, and may Your grace bring peace and everlasting life to everyone who hears the Good News this season. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
Join us tomorrow for another story of a life changed by God’s grace.
