We’re praying Ephesians 1 in the Czech Republic

April 25, 2024

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. -Ephesians 1:17-18

Dr. J. Vernon McGee tells us that there are certain guidelines each of us should follow as we study the Word of God. If we do, he is certain God will bring blessing to our hearts and our lives. (What are those guidelines? Find the series at TTB.org.) The first step is to begin with prayer. And that’s exactly what Honza in Czech Republic is asking us to do. Here’s his story:

“In your study of Philippians, I have learned what it truly means to have joy. As I see God work in my life, I am experiencing joy like never before. Thank you for this teaching. I am preparing to delve into Colossians next. Please pray that the Lord will show me His truth in each chapter.”

Today pray Ephesians 1:17-18 for Honza and all those who join us on the Bible Bus in Czech Republic. Whether this is their first time hopping aboard or they’ve been with us for multiple five-year journeys, thank the Lord for His Spirit who is with them (and us), teaching us, guiding us, and opening the Word to us as we seek Him in His Word.

Join us as we pray against apathy and atheism in Latvia tomorrow. We’re so glad to have you along for this prayer trek.
