“I caught my wife researching Christianity on the internet. I was beside myself.”

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. -2 Corinthians 2:14

“I caught my wife researching Christianity on the internet. I was beside myself.”

Welcome travelers. Although more than 90% of Egyptians claim Islam as their religion, this husband was actually beside himself with joy. Here’s the rest of his story.

“I am a faithful viewer of Kol el Ketab on satellite TV and am excited to share this good news. I discovered that she started to search on the internet about the Christian faith and look for Christian channels on the radio and TV. It all began about 10 months ago, when I tried to take my children with me to church. At that time, she refused and sent them to the mosque for Islamic teaching. I did not respond in anger, in fact, I simply told her I would pray about it and hope that we could discuss this matter at another time.

“Not soon after, she began to ask me about the joy and happiness I seem to have after listening to your programs. After I explained the magnificence and pleasure of knowing my Lord Jesus in a deeper way, she began to relent. She also says the children may now go with me to church and watch your programs. This is a miracle. Please pray that God’s Word in my life is a sweet fragrance to her, calling her to salvation. Also pray for the salvation of my children and that our family may be a presence for the Lord.”

As you pray for this family, lift up all those on the Bible Bus waiting for loved ones to come to the Lord. Read 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 and ask God to take His Word and His Spirit and make our lives a pleasing fragrance to Him—reminding everyone we meet that Jesus Christ is our life and breath.
