God’s Word is Alive & It Changes Everything

Prayer Points

• Pray for freedom – That those trapped in addiction or destructive habits will find lasting freedom in Christ.
• Pray for peace – That God’s Word will bring calm to angry hearts and homes.
• Pray for growth – That more people in Rwanda will listen and grow in their knowledge of God’s truth.

Today we celebrate how God is at work in the lives of two listeners to the Kinyarwanda program in Rwanda. One found strength to overcome addiction; the other discovered peace as God replaced anger with truth. Together, their stories remind us that God’s Word is alive and it changes everything.

Be encouraged by these stories:

“I used to be addicted to alcohol but now, because of this program, I have stopped drinking alcohol and serve my Lord. For a long time, I wished to stop drinking but it was in vain. Now I have the strength to stop. Thank you for this program!”

“The TTB program you shared with us is so interesting. Now I know many things in the Bible. The teachings are very important. I consider them as a mirror to my life. I used to be more angry and nervous, but now I am very peaceful and calm because of these teachings. Thank you for the program and God bless you.”

God’s Word is indeed a mirror that shows us who we are and points us to the One who can make us new. 

As you reflect on these stories, ask yourself: In what areas is God calling me to change? May these listeners' freedom and peace inspire us to invite God’s Word to reshape our own lives. And let’s pray faithfully for those in Rwanda who are just beginning their journey of faith.
