An Albanian Pastor Finds Joy in the Whole Word of God

Albania is a land of majestic mountains and vibrant cities, centuries of tradition, and emerging faith. Once closed off under one of the most oppressive atheist regimes in the world, Albania is now home to a growing number of believers who are hungry for God’s Word. Though public expressions of faith are increasing, deep spiritual needs persist. Many Albanians are still discovering the freedom that comes from studying God’s Word in their own language. “My name is Veri and I lead a small church in a suburban area of Tirana. I had been studying my Bible alone, but when I heard this study it opened my eyes. I listened to Dr. McGee’s teachings from the beginning of the Bible until the end. In our country, Bible studies are rare. When I heard this study, my eyes were shining with happiness. Now I can listen to what other teachers are saying about the Bible! The church I lead serves very poor people and we also visit people in prison. Dr. McGee’s teachings have helped me to understand God's Word more clearly, and I have been able to share this knowledge with others.”

What a beautiful testimony of how God’s Word is bearing fruit in Albania.
