God’s Word, the ultimate joy bringer

Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. -Jeremiah 15:16
When we embrace God’s Word, joy follows. That’s what we hear from the prophet Jeremiah and also from a listener named Elizabeth in India. Here’s her story:
“I come from a family where we practice so many rituals. I am illiterate, but I want to praise God that He saved my life and then taught me to speak Hindi, Marathi, and English. Now, God is using me for His ministry. Thank you for your programs that have been instrumental in my salvation and sanctification process. Each day, I am learning and growing in the depth of the Word of God. The teachings in your program are missing in our churches. It has been a blessing for me that you teach the Word of God in such a way that you make it easy for me to understand and share. I pray that many more will be blessed by your program and come to know which direction they should follow in life.”
Praise God for those like Elizabeth who turn to His Word as their source of life, purpose, and joy. Pray many more in India and around the world hear God’s Word on THRU the BIBLE and rejoice in it. As we study together, may we, too, find delight in being called His children.
