God is full of surprises

“The Lord was ready to save me; therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments all the days of our life, in the house of the Lord. -Isaiah 38:20
God is at work through His Word. We absolutely believe it and we confidently say it a lot. What’s even better? We love to share the stories that prove it. Rejoice with us in this one from Afghanistan:
“We are a small group of Christian men. There was a man for whom we prayed and wanted to share the Good News with, but we didn’t know how to start. One day he was in the hospital because of an accident, so we went to visit him. We took a risk and started to share the gospel. That’s when he surprised us and said he already knew about Jesus. His mom listened to the radio and he accidentally heard about Jesus from your teaching. God is full of surprises. We were so grateful that He prepared this man’s heart and he accepted Jesus that day in the hospital.”
What a joy it is to receive letters like this. Keep praying, keep trusting God to move in the hearts of His people in Afghanistan and around the world. He is indeed full of surprises and His timing is perfect.
