Welcome to France. As we gather to pray for God’s Word going out today, here’s an encouraging letter from a listener who calls himself A.S.:
“I have been studying with you in Arabic and have told some of my church members about it. I am a born-again Christian and I appreciate the depths of your comments and the links that are made between the Old and New Testaments. I have come to find the person of Christ is amazing. Brother Youssef knows the Scriptures by heart and it is a thrill to hear him and Brother Ayyad talk.
“I really like the summary at the end of the program to challenge non-Christians by presenting the step of faith to be taken to become a Christian. I take notes for when I share the gospel with others. It's always clear, sharp, and precise.
“In short, I wanted to send you this message to encourage you in your major undertaking, because explaining the whole Bible requires perseverance and courage, but this is an excellent initiative which will bear fruit, thanks to God. I also want to let you know that I pray 1 Corinthians 15:58 for all who participate in this endeavor to make the Word of God known.”
That’s a great prayer. Today lift up those worldwide who are part of THRU the BIBLE’s progress (that includes all of us who pray, too). Ask God to keep our hearts steadfast, our faith immovable, and our lives fully devoted to His work, knowing that anything else we accomplish in this life will fade and only what’s done for Christ will last.
