Praying Psalm 57:1 in Libya

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. -Psalm 57:1
It’s no secret that the very few Christians who call Libya home live in danger. Today as God’s Word goes out in this turbulent north African nation, let’s ask Him to protect and multiply the numbers of those who love and secretly follow Him.
Father, thank You that we too can find refuge in the shadow of Your wings. Help our brothers and sisters in Libya remember that You are with them and that they are never alone. None of us can live without You. None of us can face tomorrow without the promise of Your presence. So, draw them to walk with You and live under Your protection. As they do, please add to the numbers of those who walk with them, so they can worship together and encourage one another in the journey. In Jesus' name, amen.
