Praising God for His promises in Proverbs 30:5

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. -Proverbs 30:5
The power of God’s Word in our lives. That’s what we celebrate today and every day on the World Prayer Team. Together, let’s celebrate with a new sister in Assam, India:
“I found your teachings a few months ago. I am learning so much. I didn’t know about Jesus and now I believe in Him. Before I studied God’s Word, I was struggling with people around me. I was depressed as I found life difficult, a chore. But now I’ve found new support and strength from this program. I know God’s Word is truth, and I feel His protection in my life.”
God’s Word taught on THRU the BIBLE is going out in more than 250 languages today. Thank Him for the way He is bringing new family members into our community of faith. It’s a good reminder, too, of how we can trust Him today, as well.
Father, thank You for Your Word that is flawless and eternal. Help us to live with the certainty of Your promise to be our shield. In You we find refuge, hope, and strength. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
