Religious rules don’t matter

Following religious rules doesn’t matter—God only looks at your heart.
That’s what we’re learning in our study of Galatians, and that’s what Edgar from El Salvador discovered, too. Here’s his story.
“I have gone to church all my life, but I didn’t know God. My faith was filled with rituals and very little in-depth study of God’s Word. I am pleased to say that today I completed five years THRU the BIBLE. I cannot express to you the blessings I have received during this process. I now know that I can go to God directly with anything: my joys, my sadness, and my sin. I do not need to talk with someone else. He hears me when I pray. Thank you for this wonderful study. It has been one of the best experiences of my life, and I share it whenever possible.”
Thank God that there is nothing we can do to save ourselves. Thank God for that gift today. As you do, pray all those who hop aboard the Bible Bus in El Salvador hear these words of freedom for themselves. May they too realize God is ready to save them if they only reach out in faith.
