Looking to Jesus in all things

Welcome, team! This week we begin our travels through Central America and the Caribbean with a stop in the Dominican Republic where a listener named Marina is excited to share her story:
“As my husband and I have studied the Bible with you, so many lessons have changed the way we live. Recently the studies in Joshua have challenged us to choose God over everything else. We have painted a sign with Joshua 24:15 and placed it near our door. We use this as a reminder as we go out and return. Please pray we will keep our focus solely on Him.”
What a great request. Let’s pray that for all of us who hop aboard the Bible Bus.
Father, we choose You above all else. You alone are worthy of our worship and praise. Help us not to divide our loyalty by focusing on the things in this world that distract us from Your purposes and plan. As we study Your Word, help to know You more and to serve You with all that we have. Show us how to live with humble hearts and help us to keep walking in Your truth every moment of the day. We want to look to Jesus in all things. In His name we pray, amen.
